Kingston's Brite Strike Turns to Public Markets
Kingston, MA - Aug 06, 2008 - (Gatehouse News Service) - Brite-Strike Tactical Illumination Products Inc., the Kingston-based designer of flashlights that can be used as personal safety devices, is now publicly traded.
The company, which is now traded on the Pink Sheets under the symbol "BSTI," began trading on Tuesday with 20 million shares outstanding after it completed a reverse merger with Global One Holdings, a Miami company that has been inactive since 2004.
Brite-Strike officials did not disclose the terms of the merger, stating that the information would be forthcoming on the company's first public filing, which they expect to file by mid-November. The stock closed Wednesday at 52 cents a share.
